Art could not be consumed if the artist failed to exist. Take Sneha Yadav’s art, which translates onto canvases of varied genres, textures, and media. Combining storytelling and visual art that expresses the free spirit, the biking nomad, and professionalism from a down-to-earth, relatable perspective.

From paper to digital art, from popup art to commissioned projects, she transforms barren concrete walls into working murals that enhance the local cityscapes, Sneha’s work resonates with vibrant themes.

What makes her artistic interpretation authentic, is the divine femininity that breathes life into her brush strokes and pencil lines. A fiercely independent individual, Sneha Yadav makes sure that she captures reality in her artwork with a delicate balance of playfulness and wanderlust.

The Powerful Legacy of Women in the Moto World

The automotive world has always been all-inclusive, women have been long associated with the automotive world, contrary to popular belief. Wheels and machinery merely call for skillsets and know-how, for analog pieces of machinery lack the capacity to judge.

Yes, it did come with its fair share of challenges, just like most aspects of life in general. However with automobiles, you either possess the required skillsets, or you set about learning the knowledge.

On July 4th, 1916, two sisters, Augusta and Adeline Van Buren took off on their motorcycles from New York on their 1000 cc Indian motorcycles as dispatch riders at the outbreak of the second world war.

Women have always risen to the occasion, challenging the order, while creating a niche for themselves.

Leaving London on a 600 cc single-cylinder motorcycle, Theresa Wallach managed to reach Cape Town, South Africa in 1935, latter she would go on to be inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

In a similar fashion, Sneha Yadav has managed to carve her own path into the Indian moto art world. Drawing inspiration from her everyday life and the many different passions that drives her soul.

Mechologue, a dialogue with motors

Inspiration as it said, approaches in many a form and if two wheels and a motor can spark inspiration, why not? , for it's clearly divine. Motorcycle artwork is a niche art form that has just blown up in India, in the last few years.

Tapping into her inner speed demon, Sneha's love for her Ducatis drives her moto art, I guess there’s a little motorcyclist in all of us, after all.

Her style is unique and authentic to the fact she always working towards a better canvas, never stopping at just one. She works with concepts that come alive bringing out the storyteller in her.

Cutting across genres, her work is inspired by real people, events, and significant moments in global automotive history.

Akin to the moto grand Prix racers, who corner the bends of the tarmac, Sneha Yadav leans in really close to her canvas, blending mediums, genres, and color palettes not stopping at anything.

She mutates Japanese Geishas alongside Italian motorcycles, while butterflies adorn the day of the dead skulls, showcasing fluidity and inclusivity in her artworks.

From minimalist line drawing to broad flora patterns, this is one Indian artist that keeps pushing the boundary with every illustration. Like fellow artists, such as Dr.Maral Yazarloo, and Francesca Lai, Sneha Yadav's style brings not just creativity but also serves as thought leadership motorcycling content.

She has managed to turn this into one of her many professional career paths, breathing life into India’s biggest motorcycle festivals, while working with well-known international brand houses.

Art and Proud

Powerful women are everywhere — in the arts, on the race tracks, in the boardrooms, and in our families, heading and nurturing them.

Women are present, vibrant, and achieving greatness every day, they are active, engaged, and powerful, they take power whenever they can, which is their right, and they are determined.

Here I am writing about a powerful woman in the motoart world in India, if you know of powerful women in the arts, past or present, leave it in the comments and I will write about them.

To conclude I leave you with parting words from our very own superwoman.

“Motoart to me is everything, I feel connected with the machines” — Sneha Yadav
